Fun at the Lake

We were invited to a friends' parents house today. They live right on a lake, so we took these city boys out to experience swimming in a lake. It was great fun!

This is a picture just after they got back from riding on the jet ski. They really enjoyed it.

It look a bit of time, but they finally enjoyed swimming in the water. It was more like bath water as the lake wasn't terribly deep.
Can't get them to take a serious picture ever!
They also got to go tubing for the first time. I was worried they would be scared, but the whole time Micah just kept asking to go faster!

Just some shots from the boat...absolutely beautiful day! We finally had the humidity break and the weather was amazing today!!

Good times...

Maternity Clothes

Now that I am down to the last 4+week of pregnancy, not only am I tired of the clothes that I have, but nothing really feels like it is that comfortable anymore either.

I am so grateful for my friend Sara at work, who searched online for maternity fashion and came up with this hot number...Who wouldn't want an expandable dress...now this is something I could get and wear now and later! Or maybe not...
Yikes.

2 wheel bike riding

These are the spoils of our labor of love...we've had just a few tomatoes this year off our plant, but it's been fun to grow our own.
Wish I could say we grew the corn, but I was just excited the boys liked it so much!

I thought teaching Noah to ride his bike was going to be a lot harder, but we took him out to the church parking lot, I said "you've got to balance," to which he replied, "Okay, I think I've got it"...and took off! It's been a great thing and this was just one video I was able to catch of him a couple days after he learned. Note the swim goggles...apparently he is practicing to be Evel Knievel.

Fun with Neighbors

Our neighbors are great. They invited us over for S'mores one night and had HUGE marshmallows. This was the aftermath of one marshmallow and Micah.
Oops..don't know how to make this picture right...Noah was just hanging by the side of the pool and they caught a cute snapshot of him.
Chris will get in the pool with all the boys (they have two young boys as well - one high schooler too) and throw them up in the air. Scott did a great job catching Micah being thrown in all the stages.

We really do have such great neighbors. They are a lot of fun and we all just enjoy being around each other!!
