It has been many moons since I came back from Africa, but as we approach this holiday season I can't help but think of our two little boys that are there. I can't help but think about how much we have here and how little they have there. It is so easy to trust God and say that He is all we need when we have everything we need. The faith of the people in Swaziland is amazing and their trust in the Lord was inspiring.
This is one of our children, Mbongeni. His dad gave me this beautiful skirt and head wrap. I loved meeting their family.
I brought him a soccer ball. We had so much fun playing together.
We brought along a blow up globe to show them where we lived in comparison to where they were located.
This was a sweet little girl at one of the sites that we visited. She literally giggled the entire time we were there.
I miss my friends in Africa so much. I loved being there and the people that I met. I fell in love with them.
There is a song called "Africa" (strange, I know) by Paul Coleman Trio...it says, "Africa, I came to change you, but instead you changed me. I must confess that I came to frame you in a photograph, but you showed me why, you turned this heart around..."
